New Class Offerings

I’m now offering The Craft of Fiction and A Day of Poetry classes. Some information below:

The Craft of Fiction: Tuesday, October 26 to Tuesday, November 30 7:00pm-9:00pm at the Village Book Shop in downtown Glendora. $150 This is six 2 hour classes cover the craft of fiction: Characterization, Setting, Imagery, Showing vs. Telling, Story, Plot, Point of View, Comparisons, and finally Revision. The course culminates in the Workshop, where you and other students share your stories and provide feedback for each other. For more information or to sign up: The Craft of Fiction.

A Day of Poetry: Saturday, November 6 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Village Book Shop in downtown Glendora. $50 (includes lunch). We’ll start by going over the main styles of poetry, try our hand, and explore the sense in historic downtown Glendora. For more information or to sign up: A Day of Poetry.
