Sunlight

Warm sun glitters bright
Upon cool earth beneath.
I look out, breath slow.
One foot in front of other,
I inch into light.

Flowered air billows past,
Sun caressing cold skin.
I inhale honeyed air.
Warmth blooms across feet
And shivers up my spine.

Rustling leaves dance in time
To rhythmic nimble breeze.
I lay in grass green
Puffs of cloud soar white
On crystal cerulean seas.
